day 01: entry beijing

our guide will pick you up at beijing airport and transfer to the hotel. the rest of the day is free.

day 02: beijing

visit the tian'anmen square, the forbidden city and the temple of heaven. the beijing duck dinner and peking opera are served in the evening. (b+l+d)

day 03: beijing

visit the badaling great wall, the ming tombs and the summer palace. (b+l)

day 04: beijing/ lhasa

take morning flight to lhasa where the altitude is 3,650 meters above sea level. on the way to lhasa, visit the nietang buddha. acclimatize yourself to the high altitude. check in at the hotel. (b+d)

day 05: lhasa

visit the magnificent potala palace, the sera monastery, the norbulingka park and a tibetan family. (b+l)

day 06: lhasa

visit the drepung monastery, the tibet museum and the thriving bazaar of the barkhor street, the tibetan traditional medicine hospital and the carpet factory. (b+l)

day 07: lhasa/xi'an

visit the jokhang temple . take flight to xi'an and transfer to the hotel. (b+l)

day 08: xi'an

visit the terracotta warriors museum, the forest of stone steles museum and the big wild goose pagoda. the tang dynasty dinner show is served in the evening. (b+l+d)

day 09: xi'an

visit the provincial history museum, the city wall and the great mosque. the local speciality dumpling dinner is served in the evening. (b+l+d)

day 10: xi'an/guilin

take flight to guilin and transfer to the hotel. visit the reed flute cave, the seven star park and the elephant trunk hill. (b+l)

day 11: guilin/yangshuo

enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the li river to yangshuo. check in at the hotel. (b+l)

day 12: yangshuo/guilin/ hong kong

morning is free. drive back to guilin and transfer to the airport. take an afternoon flight to hong kong and transfer to the hotel. (b+l)

day 13: hong kong

in the morning, have a half-day hong kong island tour. peak tram ride to mid-level of central district then to the victoria peak, visit the repulse bay, aberdeen, stanley market. after lunch, transfer to pier for taking star ferry to kowloon side, walk along the waterfront promenade back to hotel. afternoon is free. day 14: exit
