day 01 shanghai

on arrival in shanghai, china's largest and most popular city, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

day 02 shanghai

today you will visit yu garden-a marvelous private garden built in 1577.then proceed to the jade buddha temple famous for its two rare statues of buddha. this afternoon, you will visit children's palace where children receive part-time specialized training. an acrobatic show follows the dinner.

day 03 shanghai/hangzhou

after breakfast, departure by train to hangzhou, a prosperous city at the southern end of the grand canal. you will enjoy an afternoon tour of the dragon well plantation.

day 04 hangzhou

this morning, the focal point is cruise on west lake to see the scenic splendor of the pagodas, pavilions and terraces. then proceed to the viewing fish at flower harbor, a 155 hectare area with several lotus ponds. this afternoon, you will visit lingyin temple in southern china.

day 05 hangzhou/suzhou

after breakfast, departure by train to suzhou, venice of east. in the afternoon, you will enjoy a tour of huqiu(tiger hill) to see the yuyuan pagoda built in 961. proceed to the humble administrator's garden built in 1513,where you may way wander around the small lanes after dinner.

day 06 suzhou/wuxi

a morning tour to the hanshan temple, the home of two tang monks. they are said to have taken buddhist and chinese culture to japan. after lunch, departure for wuxi by the boat along the grand canal, the largest man-made canal in the world dug out in 6th century

day 07 wuxi/nanjing

this morning, you will tour lake tai, covering an area of some 864 square miles with over 1000 islands. afternoon departure by train to nanjing, set in beautiful natural surroundings along the southern bank of the yangtze river.

day 08 nanjing

today, you will visit dr. sun yat-sun's mausoleum, an imposing monument situated in the city's eastern suburbs. then proceed to nanjing museum where six exhibition rooms display prehistoric objects and works from different dynasties. this afternoon, you will enjoy touring the nanjing yangtze river bridge and confucius temple. a show of folk music will be conducted for your pleasure.

day 09 nanjing/beijing

after breakfast, depart by air for beijing-the capital of china. you will have a tour of the magnificent temple of heaven, where emperors prayed to their gods for good harvest and longevity.

day 10 beijing

this morning, you will visit tiananmen square-the world's largest public square. several important monuments and buildings are situated around the square's perimeter. then proceed to the forbidden city, known as imperial palace of the ming and qing dynasty emperors. it houses a great variety of arts. this afternoon, you will visit the immaculate summer palace famous for being the resort of the empress dowager cixi in 1888. dinner will be served with the famous peking duck.

day 11 beijing

today's highlight is the world-renowned great wall, the only man-made structure which can seen from the moon, this afternoon, on your sightseeing list is the ming tombs of 13 emperors of ming dynasty and the scared way, a 5km avenue of huge sculptural animals.

day 12 bejing/xian

after breakfast, depart by air to xian, a city of immense historical and cultural interest. in the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of impressive ming dynasty city wall where you can get a sweeping view of xian.

day 13 xian

today is the first day of the incredible naadam festival. this wonderful celebration of the independance of mongolia is an occasion in which many mongols a competition for the champions of the three national sports; archery, wrestling and horseracing. (b)

after breakfast, xian to guilin, a city set in some of china's most breathtaking scenery. this afternoon, you will visit reed-flute cave enjoy all kinds of stalactites and stalagmite. then the elephant trunk hill, the symbol of the city. it is also the landmark of guilin.

day 15 guilin/yangshuo

this morning li river cruise by pleasant boat enjoying the amazing natural limestone scenery. free time in west street.

day 16 guilin/hongkng

after breakfast, you will be transported to guilin airport. guilin to shenzhen. then shenzhen to hongkong.
