d1 arrive in beijing (from usa), meet at airport, and transfer to the 4 star hotel.

d2 visit the tian'anmen square, the forbidden city, the jinshan hill from where you can have a panoramic view of beijing, and the temple of heaven. beijing duck dinner.

d3 visit the great wall at badaling, on the way back, visit the ming tombs. after dinner, take a night train on soft sleeper from beijing to taian.

d4 your train will arrive in taian in the early morning, meet at train station, and transfer to visit mt.taishan, with cable-car up and down. stay in the 4 star hotel.

d5 drive to qufu, the hometown of confucius, visit the confucian temple, house, and tombs. stay in the 3 star hotel.

d6 drive from qufu to jinan, in the afternoon, take a flight from jinan back to beijing, meet at beijing airport, and transfer to the 4 star hotel.

d7 visit the beijing man site at zhoukoudian, then drive back to beijing, stay in the 4 star hotel.

d8 morning visit the summerpalace, after lunch, drive from beijing to chengde, stay in the 4 star hotel.

d15 take a morning flight from xian to dunhuang, meet at dunhuang airport, and transfer to the 4 star dunhuang hotel. afternoon visit the mogao grottoes.

d16 morning visit the the singing sand dune and the crescent pond. at noon, transfer to airport to take a flight from dunhuang back to xian, meet at xian airport and transfer to the purple mountain hotel. afternoon free time in xian.

d17 take a morning flight from xian to lhasa, meet at lhasa airport, and transfer to the 4 star hotel. free afternoon in lhasa.

d18 visit the potalapalace, the jokhangtemple, and the barkor bazaar.

d19 visit the drepung monastery, the sera monastery, and the norbulinkasummerpalace.

d20 take a morning flight from lhasa to zhongdian, meet at zhongdian airport, and transfer from zhongdian to lijiang, on the way, visit the famous tiger-leaping gorge which is one of the deepest gorges in the world. check in the 4 star hotel.

note: there is only one flight each week from lhasa to zhongdian, it's on wednesday.
