d1 arrive in shanghai, meet at airport and transfer to your hotel. after dinner, take a walk in the bund.

d2 visit yu garden in the old district, and the jadebuddhatemple, and the tv tower from where you can have a panoramic view of the metropolis, after that, we will give you free time at the nanjing road, which is the best known shopping street in china. at night, enjoy the famous acrobatic show.

d3 take a train to suzhou, visit the master of nets garden and the embroidery research institute to see the famous double-side embroidery.

d4 take a boat cruising the ancient grand canal to wuxi, a visit to tangcity and a tour of the huishan clay figurine research institute, jichang garden and yuantouzhu park.

d5 cruise amongst the many islands of laketai, then travel by bus to hangzhou. enjoy the ancient art of silk weaving at a silk factory and visit a tea farm. relax in the lingyin temple.

d6 cruise the westlake. take an afternoon flight to beijing.

d7 today's highlight is your visit to the great wall, symbol of chinese civilization. on your way back to the city, stop by shenlu (holy road) to see some marvelous stone sculptures.

d8 begin the day with a visit to tiananmen square, the world's largest. then, move on to the imperial palace, also known as the "forbidden city" that symbolizes the imperial and traditional china. after lunch, visit temple of heaven, the place where the emperors of ming and qing dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. tonight's dinner is the royal cuisine at fangshan restaurant in beihai park.

d9 after a relaxed breakfast at your hotel, transfer to airport for your departure.
