d1 arrive in kunming, sightseeing in the city.

d2 sightseeing in the stone forest which is one of the great nature wonders in china.

d3 sightseeing in the dragon gate which is a grotto cut out of the vertical cliff face of the western hill, and the golden temple which is the largest bronze-made temple in china. after dinner, take a 40 minutes flight to jinghong, the capital of the xishuangbanna dai autonomous prefecture.

d4 sightseeing in the menglun tropical botanical garden which is the largest one in china, on the way back, visit ganlanba dai villages and temples.

d5 sightseeing in jinghong, then take a 40 minutes flight to dali, the capital of the dali bai autonomous prefecture.

d6 sightseeing in dali old town which is a paradise for backpackers to relax, the three pagodas which is more than 1000 years old, and xizhou, an old town where bai buildings are well protected.

d7 drive 3 hours from dali to lijiang. after lunch, sightseeing in the lijiang old town which has been listed into the world culture heritage.

d8 sightseeing in the jade dragon snow mt.(5596m), baisha naxi village and the black dragon pool.

d9 drive 4 hours from lijiang to zhongdian which has got a new name as shangri-la, it is really a quiet, peaceful and beautiful highland. after lunch, visit the songzanlin lamasery which has more than 800 monks and 3 living buhhdas.

d10 sightseeing in the napa lake which is a nature reserve for birds protection, in winter, you can see black-necked cranes here. after lunch, sightseeing in bita lake and enjoying a horse riding tour.

d11 take a morning flight back to kunming. after lunch, we will see you off at the airport.
