there are 55 minorities living in china, most of them live in the southwest part. in this land tour, you will visit 3 province: yunnan, guizhou and guangxi. kunming is the capital of yunnan province. guiyang is the capital of guizhou province. guilin is regarded as the most beautiful city in china.

d1 arrive in kunming, met by our guide at the airport, then transfer to the hotel. kunming is known as the city of eternal spring, with a history of over 2000 years. it is also one of the cities of historical and cultural interest in china.

d2 excursion 90 km southeast to stoneforest, a typical karst-landscape. it covers an area of 27,000 hectares, where stand the bizarre-shaped peaks which were under the ancient sea 270 million years ago. sani minority have lived here for hundreds of years. sani girls in their colorful clothes like moving flowers in stoneforest. drive back to kunming.

d3 in the morning, visit to the western hills, walk in the fresh air and mountain trees. at dragon gate you can have a bird's eye view of the whole city of kunming and dianchi lake, which covers an area of 320 square kilometers. lunch at local restaurant. in the afternoon, visit to the golden temple and the birds and flower market. after dinner, take train to anshun.

d4 arrive in anshun early in the morning. after breakfast, visit to huangguoshu waterfall, the largest waterfall in china. in the afternoon visit to the dragon cave by boat.

d5 about 3 hours drive to the provincial capital guiyang, visit the village of miao minority en route. in the afternoon, visit to the jiaxiu tower and hongfu temple in guiyang city.

d6 kaili is a small town and home of miao people, 200 km to the east of guiyang. upon arrival, visit kaili museum with a large collection of cultural display of miao minority people.

d7 excursion to the miaovillage in langde and matang. the miao people will greet you at the gate of the village with wine and singing and dancing performances. visit the minority families and get to know the life style of the local minority people.

d8 drive to rongjiang which is about 165 km to the east of kaili. visit to the minority villages and enjoy the country landscape of terraced fields, rivers and hills, en route.

d9 drive 125 km to zhaoxin. visit villages of miao and dong minorities en route.

d10 drive 85 km to sanjiang. visit bell tower and the wind and rain bridge of dong minority style.

d11 drive 65 km to longsheng. visit the beautiful terraced fields and red yao minority people.

d12 drive 100 km to guilin. although guilin is a small city in china, it is very famous for its fantastic lime stone formations. it is said that the scenery in guilin is the no.1 in the world and there are more tourists than local people in guilin.

d13 cruise on li river to yangshuo, the most beautiful lime stone formation in china, even in the world. it is like a natural cubic chinese painting gallery, you need to bring enough films for you may want to take pictures every minute. in the afternoon, drive 83 km back to guilin.

d14 in the morning, visit the reed flute cave and elephant park. in the afternoon, free time to explore the old town of guilin.

d15 after a relaxed breakfast in your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
