d01. arrive the boarder town zhangmu.over night in zhangmu

zhangmu is a little boarder town in the south slope of the himalaya mountain range. it’s a nice place to rest one night there before your tour in the high plateau.

d02. drive to peigutsolakecamping

it’s about 200 km from zhangmu to pergutsolake. it takes about 4 hours to arrive here. it is a nice place to appreciate the beautiful himalayamountain.

d03. drive to saga from peigutsolakecamping

it is about 150 km from peigutso to drongpa. it takes about 5 or 6 hours to reach saga, because it needs long time to wait to cross the yaluzangburiver by ferry boat.

d04. drive to drongpacamping

it doesn’t take long to drive to drongpa. it is only about 150 km.

d05. drive to darchhancamping

it is big day today. we have to drive 380 km to darchhan. darchhan is a small town just located in foot of the kailashmountain. it is the base camp of all the people who are ready to trek around the holy mountain.

d06. trek to driraphug monasterycamping

it is about 20kms to the small monastery of driraphug, it always takes almost of the tourists 7-8 hours to reach. it is quite hard for most of tourist to walk in such a high place in the first day. all belongs can be carried by the yaks except your valuable things.

d07. trek to drutrulphug monasterycamping

it is harder for the tourists to cover this day’s 20kms, because they have to climb a 5700 meters mountain pass.

d08. trek back to darchhan and drive to lakemanasarovar.camping

the third day is not so hard, because there is 15kms to walk. it takes about 4-5hours to come back darchhan and drive to the manasarovarlake and camp near the lake.

d09. drive to drongpacamping

same way back drongpa

d10. drive back to sagacamping

d11. drive back to zhangmu.overnight in zhangmu

d12. exit and depart to kathmandu.
